Packaging plays an important role in keeping food fresh and reducing food waste, so we're continually reviewing the materials we use.

As members of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), we're working towards Australia's National Packaging Targets by improving recyclability and reducing unnecessary packaging wherever practical.

Many of our products now feature the Australasian Recycling Label (ARL), making it easier for customers to understand how each part of the packaging should be disposed of correctly.

Reducing waste is part of our everyday operations. We make use of the whole animal, ensuring nothing goes to waste.

Across our retail stores, we use paper bags, recyclable deli wrap and reusable or compostable shopping bags where suitable.

Cardboard and other recyclable materials are also collected and recycled throughout our operations.

Sustainability isn't about one big change. It's about making small improvements over time.

Whether it's using solar panels, reducing our packaging footprint and package sizes, reducing waste or improving the way we operate, we're always looking for practical ways to lessen our environmental impact while maintaining the quality our customers know us for.
